Balouchanas, Kalloni Körfezi'nin güney kıyısına kurulmuş sakin bir kıyı köyü olan Perama'da yer alan bir balık restoranıdır. Körfez, Ege'nin en verimli balıkçılık alanlarından biridir ve her şeyden önce ünlü Kalloni sardalyeleriyle tanınır; bu ürün, korunan menşe adı taşıyacak kadar değerlidir. Bu ortamdaki bir taverna kimliğini doğrudan denizden alır ve Yunan kıyı mutfağının en güzel örneklerini tanımlayan, sade biçimde hazırlanmış, inanılmaz taze deniz ürünleri sunar.
Misafirler, günün avını esas alan bir menüyle karşılaşabilirler: ızgara balık, kalamar tava ve yerel deniz ürünleri mezelerinin yanı sıra geleneksel usulde hafifçe tuzlanmış ya da kömür ateşinde ızgara yapılmış hâliyle en iyi tadılan vazgeçilmez Kalloni sardalyeleri. Balouchanas'ın masaları, mutfağa her sabah taze balık sağlayan teknelerin çıktığı Kalloni Körfezi'nin sakin sularına bakıyor. Menü günün avına göre şekilleniyor: ızgara ya da sade kızartma balık, kalamar ve Midilli'nin meşhur Kalloni sardalyaları hafifçe tuzlanmış veya mangalda. Perama'nın yavaş köy ritmi, buradaki yemeği gerçek bir mola gibi hissettiriyor.

Perama, Midilli şehrinden Kalloni Körfezi boyunca batıya giden kıyı yolunu izleyerek yaklaşık 15 dakika araçla ulaşılan bir mesafede. Kalloni'ye ya da adanın iç bölgelerine giderken doğal bir durak noktası oluşturuyor.

It's cozy here, with a beautiful view of the Bay of Gera. The food is good, but sometimes the food wasn't really warm (this could also be because it was very busy due to a public holiday, hence the 4 stars). If you're in the area, you'll definitely eat there at least once, even if you drive there specifically to eat there (which we did this time, but I wouldn't do it again).

Everything we ate was below average. Calamari was burnt and pricier at the bill than their menu. Even Greek Salad was tasteless, not recommended!

Very friendly family run fish taverna that offers delicious food! Everything we had was excellent, the highlights were the fava with sweet caramelized onion, the very tender fried sepia and the tiganitelia (a bit similar to zucchini balls but also containing zucchini flowers). Also beautiful location and very appealing interior design with lots of driftwood and plants. Very fair prices! Definitely recommended if you happen to visit Perama.

This is an inexpensive tavern in the village of Perama in Lesvos. The food is mostly from the sea, but there are some interesting meat dishes like meatballs. The cuisine is local with fresh ingredients. The location is fantastic, right by the sea On the minus side: today, there was a group of tourists, place was packed and service was extremely slow. Clearly, it's understaffed. We had to wait for our lunch for 45 minutes. Maybe it was a coincidence and it happened only once, but it costs the place one star..

Nice little place at the harbour with full panoramic view of the bay. Good prices and more than enough to choose from. They offer lots of fish but also meat. The baclava was especially tasteful.
