To Kentron voelt aan als een stap terug in de tijd: oude foto's aan de muren, nostalgische inrichting en een ontspannen sfeer die bij een echte Griekse kafeneio hoort. Neem een Griekse koffie met een huisgemaakt nagerecht en zoek een plekje in de achtertuin met uitzicht op zee.
Beste tijd om te gaan
Eind voorjaar tot begin herfst is het aangenaamst; zomeravonden in de tuin zijn bijzonder ontspannen als de hitte afneemt.
Hoe er te komen
Sigri ligt in het uiterste westen van Lesbos, ongeveer anderhalf uur rijden van Mytilini. Het café bevindt zich in het centrum van het dorpje, vlakbij de kleine haven.

Absolutely loved this traditional kafenio! The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, perfect for a relaxing evening. The meze dishes were truly outstanding. Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. A great place to enjoy good food and unwind with friends. Highly recommended!

This small ‘kafe-neo’ (traditional Greek coffee place) is not affected by the passage of time. You travel back to decades back with the pictures and the decoration inside. If the wind is not to strong, you can enjoy a sea view while having your coffee, but don’t worry about the wind! You can enjoy the back garden with the rest if the older men in the village who sit there every morning for a coffee. It’s a beautiful place with a kind owner. We enjoyed a nice breakfast there!

The historical cafe of Sigri! Antonis, the owner, is one of the most loving persons you'll meet during your stay. You can taste local candies and honey. Please ask for hot chocolate in case you are at the village in autumn or winter time. Be certain you'll love the place!
