Lakis Studios biedt zelfstandige accommodatie in de relaxte badplaats Anaxos, weggestopt aan de noordwestkust van Lesbos waar de Egeïsche Zee een lang zandstrand ontmoet. Het gebied staat bekend om zijn rustige tempo, ondiepe kalme wateren en onbelemmerde uitzichten op de Turkse kust en de contouren van het schiereiland Troas — een herinnering aan de smalle zeepassage die deze hoek van de Middellandse Zee al duizenden jaren definieert. Dit type studio’s in Anaxos biedt doorgaans het onafhankelijke, huis-weg-van-huis comfort dat past bij bezoekers die zich willen vestigen in het eilandleven in plaats van er doorheen te reizen.
Een verblijf bij Lakis Studios plaatst gasten op korte afstand van alles wat Anaxos te bieden heeft: het lange zandstrand omzoomd met tamariskbomen, een handvol taverna’s die verse vis en lokale mezes serveren, en het soort onthaaste ochtenden waar Lesbos zo goed in is. Wat u kunt verwachten
Lakis Studios ligt op steenworp afstand van een lang strand beschaduwd door tamarisken, met ondiep en rustig water dat uitnodigt tot een ontspannen ochtendzwembeurt. Het gehucht Anaxos is klein en ingetogen, met een paar tavernes op loopafstand waar u 's avonds verse vis en lokale mezedes kunt eten. Het uitzicht over de smalle zeestraat naar de Turkse kust geeft de plek een stille grandeur.
Beste tijd om te gaan
Eind mei tot september is het zwemseizoen; in juli en augustus is het het warmst maar ook het drukst op het strand.
Hoe er te komen
Vanuit Mytilini rijdt u in circa een uur naar het noordwesten via Kalloni. Anaxos ligt net ten zuiden van Petra — volg de borden naar Petra en sla dan af richting de kust.

I wouldn't recommend this place if you want to be treated as a room number however if you want great service that makes you feel special this is the place. Lakis is a natural host who will go out of his way to help and does so with a smile. The beach with the usual offering of restaurants is within easy reach as are the restaurants in the other direction on the main road, food in all is very good and a very reasonable price. There are also small food and souvenir shops with the closest selling fantastic local flavoured honey and fridge magnets that were made from her own photos. Jet2 informed me that mobility scooters are not allowed on the premises however as soon as I mentioned this to Lakis he arranged for the delivery of one at a very good price and ensured it was charged for me. I visited as a solo traveller and felt welcomed and safe everywhere I went. This is one place I would definitely visit again as this was a truly relaxing week.

We enjoyed our stay for 8 days. The owner is friendly and also acts as the cook. It is located on a narrow street where the bus picking you up from the airport cannot reach. You are dropped off at the beginning of the street and then have to walk a short distance with your suitcase(s) to the hotel (not a disaster). It is close to the beach and the lively "boulevard," accessible via a narrow winding road that takes you past shops, houses, and hotels/apartments.

Great place to stay and relax, owner is really wholsome and has great attitude. Whenever there was any problem or something needed to be done, we just heard "No prooblem, don't worry about it" and it was done almost right away. I recommend to anyone willing to spend holidays in clean, calm and charmy place.
