Best time to visit

Late May through September is ideal; July and August bring full beach weather but also the busiest crowds at Skala Eresou.

How to get there

From Mytilene, head west across the island through the central mountains and olive country — the drive takes roughly an hour and a half and ends with a descent into the green Eresou valley.
