About
Pure Cafe & Juicery is a welcoming coffee shop and juice bar located in Skala Eresou, the beloved seaside village on the southwestern coast of Lesvos. Known for its laid-back bohemian atmosphere and long stretches of pebbly beach, Skala Eresou draws a diverse crowd of travelers, and Pure fits naturally into this easygoing scene as a spot to pause and refresh during a day of exploration.
The cafe offers fresh-pressed juices alongside quality coffees and light fare, catering to health-conscious visitors and those simply looking for something revitalizing after a morning swim or a walk along the shore. Its emphasis on wholesome, natural ingredients sets it apart from typical tourist-strip options, making it a go-to choice for travelers who appreciate clean, thoughtfully prepared drinks and snacks.
Whether you stop in for a cold-pressed juice to beat the Aegean heat or settle in with a coffee to watch the unhurried pace of village life, Pure Cafe & Juicery offers a relaxed, feel-good experience that suits the spirit of Skala Eresou perfectly. It is the kind of place that earns a spot on a visitor's daily routine without any effort at all.
Before you go
What to expect
Sitting at Pure with a cold-pressed juice in hand, you get the full Skala Eresou experience — unhurried, sun-drenched, and quietly bohemian. The menu leans toward fresh and natural, so expect vibrant fruit juices alongside good coffee rather than the usual tourist-strip fare. It draws a steady crowd of beachgoers and long-stay visitors who have made it part of their morning ritual.
Best time to visit
May through September is the sweet spot; July and August bring intense heat that makes a cold juice feel essential, while June and September offer the same quality with a more relaxed crowd.
How to get there
Skala Eresou is roughly a 90-minute drive from Mytilene, heading west across the island through olive-covered hills and quiet interior villages. Pure Cafe sits in the heart of the village close to the seafront.

The best healthy bar in Eresos! They offer a wide variety of fresh juices and delicious smoothies. Don’t miss the amazing cereal bars and yogurt with a range of tasty toppings. There’s something for everyone to enjoy—highly recommended!

The only place on the island that changes for sunbeds and the umbrella and they're the most worn out and poor quality. The sunbed's back part moved with the wind and hit me in the head while I was reaching for sunscreen. Better sit at the beach bars close by. Their drinks are super low quality. Would not recommend, it's the most terrible place I've been in Lesvos. Very bad experience and deserves negative stars.

It's the only place in the island (as far as I am concerned) that they charge the umbrellas and the sea chairs separately from what you order... The stuff is very helpful and there are plenty of things that you can order. But the whole experience ends up being way more expensive than in any other beach! Moreover, the music is not very pleasant and the water sports makes it a little hard for people to relax...
