Best time to visit
Late spring and early autumn strike the best balance of mild weather and uncrowded roads to this far corner of the island; July and August are warm but the long drive from Mytilene picks up more traffic.
How to get there
Sigri is roughly 90 km by road from Mytilene, crossing the island through its central highlands — allow around an hour and a half to two hours on winding but scenic roads.

Cindy and her husband are lovely. Villas are perfect for families and solo travellers to join their writting and portrait cursus. Easy going humble people that you will leave them after few days like you visited some long distance friends. The feeling, both in Sigri, and at their place is how everyone imagines Greece and the hospitality.
