About
Nestled near the quiet village of Agios Georgios in the heart of Lesvos, Home for All lives up to its name as a place of genuine warmth and welcome. Set against the unhurried rhythms of rural island life, this establishment draws visitors who are looking for an experience that feels personal and rooted in the local community rather than the anonymity of a larger resort. The surrounding landscape of Lesvos, with its ancient olive groves, rolling hills, and the particular quality of Aegean light, provides a backdrop that makes any visit here feel restorative.
The ethos behind Home for All speaks to something that has long defined hospitality in this part of Greece: the belief that a guest is not a stranger but a welcomed presence. Whether you stop in for refreshment, to find accommodation, or simply to connect with the people who call this corner of Lesvos home, you are likely to leave with a fuller sense of what the island is truly about beyond its well-known beaches and historical sites. The village of Agios Georgios itself is characteristic of the quieter inland settlements of Lesvos, modest and genuine, and this business fits naturally within that texture.
For travelers who want to experience Lesvos at a slower pace, away from the bustle of Mytilene or the tourist trails of Molyvos, places like Home for All offer something harder to find but deeply worth seeking out. Here the island reveals itself not through monuments or scenery alone, but through the everyday grace of people who have chosen to open their doors and share what they have.
Before you go
What to expect
You arrive to the quiet of the central olive country — narrow lanes past old stone walls and the scent of dry herbs in the air — and the business matches its surroundings: unhurried, personal, run by people who clearly know their neighbours. It is the kind of stop where a conversation tends to stretch longer than you planned, which is exactly the point.
Best time to visit
Late spring and early autumn strike the best balance — warm enough to enjoy the Aegean air, but before the heat of July and August settles over the inland hills.
How to get there
Head northwest out of Mytilene into the central hills toward Agios Georgios, roughly a 15–20 minute drive depending on which road you take; the village is small enough that the business is easy to find once you arrive.

You actually feel at home here....small wonder they gave it the name Home for All! Get involved and invested in the life of the refugees! This is one way to do it, by breaking bread and sharing time with the interns and the guest refugees who stop by.
