Everything is really great, good rooms, excelent location. No complaints besides the bad wifi at lower levels.
Great hotel. It is located up a hill and has a great view. The host family are very kind.
About
Tucked into the southern Lesvos coastline near the quiet village of Agios Isidoros, Hotel Vicky has grown over the years into a three-building family operation that reflects the unpretentious, welcoming spirit this part of the island is known for. The expansion from a single property to three interconnected units speaks to a steady reputation built on repeat visitors who return season after season, drawn as much by the personal hospitality as by the surroundings. This stretch of the south coast sits within easy reach of Plomari, the ouzo heartland of Greece, making it an ideal base for travelers who want to explore the island's artisan traditions alongside its beaches.
The accommodation offers a comfortable, no-frills retreat for those who come to Lesvos to slow down and absorb the rhythms of a working Greek island rather than resort-style amenities. Guests can expect clean, practical rooms spread across the three buildings, with easy access to the pebbly coves and clear Aegean waters that define Agios Isidoros. The village itself is small and unhurried, with a handful of tavernas serving locally caught fish and the kind of informal atmosphere where conversations with locals happen naturally over a glass of ouzo.
For travelers seeking an authentic southern Lesvos experience, Hotel Vicky provides a genuinely local foothold. The surrounding landscape — olive groves, terraced hillsides, and the brilliant blue of the Gulf of Gera in the distance — rewards those who take time to explore on foot or by car. Whether you are island-hopping through the Aegean or dedicating a full holiday to Lesvos, this family-run complex offers the sort of modest, honest accommodation that lets the island itself take center stage.
Before you go
What to expect
Hotel Vicky's three buildings sit steps from the pebbly coves of Agios Isidoros, where the pace is set by fishing boats and the scent of olive groves rather than poolside music. The family behind it has been welcoming the same guests back for years — the kind of place where you get a warm greeting at reception and handwritten directions to the best local taverna. Plomari's ouzo distilleries are just a short drive away, making afternoons here a natural loop of swimming, tasting, and wandering.
Best time to visit
May through October is the swim season; June and September offer warm water with noticeably fewer visitors than the peak July–August weeks.
How to get there
From Mytilene, head south along the coastal road toward Plomari — the drive is roughly 30–35 minutes; Agios Isidoros sits just before Plomari on the southern shore.

A small greek hotel about 1,5 km from Plomari. We had a nice little apartment with some wiew to the see. The bed was very good, the kitchen had what we needed. Bathroom was ok but we would have liked some more light in there. Everything was cleen. The staf is fantastic.

The rooms and bathrooms very small. I have 1.84 cm tall. Bad smell in the bathroom. In the last floor the temperature is very high. Food very good. The people that are working there were very kind.

I stayed in hotel II. For a 3 star hotel, it was very good. The room was large and spacious, with a big closet and vanity. The bathroom is also very nice a clean. The breakfast was pretty good in comparison to other 3 star hotels I've stayed in in Greece. Although flies would go on the fruit and food when they left it uncovered. There's also a great taverna nearby so if you stay in this hotel, you should check it out. I forgot to add, the room had a very nice view of the sea. Please ignore the messy bed, I took this photo right before we left.

about hotel vicky I can say that there are good things and less good things: it has an interesting architecture, spacious and clean rooms; the terrace is gorgeous with a special view; I had an unpleasant surprise with the functioning of the toilet in the room and even if I brought it to the attention of the staff, this extremely unpleasant situation was still not resolved......probably that's how the Greeks are - more comfortable when they have to fix something even though I found better toilets on the beach; also the wifi not so good.

We were forced to ask repeatedly for toilet paper until we had to buy our own. The service from the manager was not acceptable in any way, she told me to hurry up during breakfast since "the guests" also needed to toast their bread, am i not a guest? I would definitely not recommend this hotel. Only thing positive was the view of the beautiful landscape and the ocean.

Recently, I stayed there for one night and I wish I could recommend this place. It is a very beautiful hotel but unfortunately the hospitality of the owners was at least unacceptable. I had a reservation there for one night. Something came up and we went late at night, of course I called and I told them that our reservation still stands. When we arrived, there was a bar where 4 people were sitting. When my husband went closer, a man got up and spoke to him. None of the rest said a word, I thought that they were clients. When we started following the man, one woman stood up and shouted aloud that we had to leave the room at 12:00 next morning. Totally accepted of course. I was furious with hers attitude, cause she did not even say welcome or good accomodation. The only she wanted to say was that and when I told her that she was rude , SHE ASKED ME IF I WENT THERE TO RUIN HER NIGHT. Beside of this, the water wasn't even warm late at night and the signal of wifi was really poor. Lastly, at 11:59 the maid came into the room without even knocking. Its really a pity cause the location and the view is really impressive. I can absolutely not recommend this hotel.

We stayed in a room with a nice view at the Agean sea. The room itself was nice, modern and clean. What we didn't enjoy that much, was that there were too many rules and signs everywhere. Also the hotel restaurant, breakfast and service were quite average, in any way not the worst but definitely also not the best. The hotel is located on a steep hill, and the area is good for relaxing, not that great for activities.
