Visitors say
The young man serving was very kind. I don't know if he is the same owner but bravo for his kindness and willingness! The place was sparkling! We went on a Sunday when everyone was closed. From what he informed us, they are always open on Sundays.
Finally, we have a gas station here at the end of the road. Excellent quality fuel and very kind and helpful owners, there is no kinder boy than Socrates ☺️
About
Located on the western edge of Lesvos near the village of Sigri, this gas station serves as an essential fuel stop for travelers exploring one of the island's most remote and rewarding corners. The far west of Lesvos sees fewer tourists than the more populated eastern shore, making a reliable fuel source here genuinely important for anyone venturing out to see the Petrified Forest, the Natural History Museum of the Lesvos Petrified Forest, or the unspoiled beaches along this rugged coastline.
Sigri itself is a quiet fishing village at the end of a long drive from Mytilene or Molyvos, and the roads leading to and from it pass through dramatic volcanic landscapes with limited services along the way. Stopping here to fill up means visitors can continue their journey with confidence, whether heading back across the island or pushing further along the coastal roads. For road-trippers on a multi-day tour of Lesvos, knowing where fuel is available on the western side of the island is practical knowledge worth having before setting out.
Before you go
What to expect
In the far west of the island where services thin out, this station is the practical anchor of any road trip to Sigri. Travelers stopping here are usually headed to the Petrified Forest or the quiet beaches nearby, and filling up removes the anxiety of the long return drive across volcanic terrain with very little else along the way.
Best time to visit
Most useful in the warmer months when day-trippers venture out to western Lesvos; if traveling outside July–August, check ahead as hours may be reduced.
How to get there
From Mytilene, the drive is roughly 1.5 to 2 hours heading west through Kalloni and on toward Sigri, along roads that wind through largely uninhabited landscape.

It was August 15th and while all the gas stations were closed, this one was open, thank God, I had a nail stuck in my car tire and he helped me out, saving me from the possibility of leaving my car in a spot where there wouldn't even be a phone signal, thank you.

It says on google that station is open untill 21:00. We went there on 16:00, then 18:00 and 18:30 it was closed all the time... We drove back to the town and ask for information. Someone told us that owner of station went to the party and it is normal situation that he opens and closes it whenever he wants, what??? There were no other employees and we were told it's common situation that owner locks distributors, station and goes somewhere. Terrible. The nearest gas station was about 50-60km (uphill, downhill) from there. Also closed. There is no possibility to fill up the gas at any time you want....... time stopped there 30 years ago. Be careful with this station and your fuel level. I'd not recomend this place. There is EKO station in Kaloni where you can easily tank gas.
