Calma Bar is a welcoming espresso bar tucked into the laid-back western village of Sigri, one of Lesvos's most unhurried corners. Sigri sits at the far end of the island, far from the busier northern and southern coasts, and attracts visitors drawn to its natural harbor, the imposing Ottoman-era castle, and the remarkable Petrified Forest geopark nearby. The bar serves espresso-based coffees alongside the broader café offerings typical of a Greek island spot — cold freddo espressos and cappuccinos in summer, Greek coffee, fresh juices, and light refreshments. What to expect
Calma Bar lives up to its name — you order a freddo espresso, settle at a table near the door, and find yourself in no hurry to leave. The harbour is steps away, the Ottoman castle rises quietly on the horizon, and locals pass without urgency; the café absorbs the pace of the village around it. One coffee easily stretches into an hour.
Best time to visit
Late spring through early October is ideal; even in July and August, Sigri stays noticeably quieter than the busier resort towns elsewhere on the island.
How to get there
From Mytilene, drive west across the island via Kalloni toward Sigri — the journey takes roughly an hour and a half to two hours. The bar is in the village centre and easy to find on foot once you arrive.

Such a gem of a place. We went there after a visit to the museum and not knowing it was there. The staff, very friendly. They have an ever cuter dog. And the menu is simple, the food is simple and they make some great milkshakes!

Very friendly owner and polite staff. The atmosphere, music, lightning, food- makes a perfect combination for enjoyable evening. Pizzas sooo delicious! Cocktails…. After the first you’ll definitely order another one. Recommend if you are with the loved one or with a company. Enjoy!❤️

The owner treated us like he was doing us a favor for getting us sitted. Half of our order was really late (more than an hour) and when we complained about it he not only scolded us for complaining to the waiter but didn’t even said he was sorry. The whole situation ruined our night.

To say this bar is anything less than perfect would be a lie. Bambinos and his wife Mina run a well organised, friendly, comfortable and professional bar that serves the best omlettes, pizzas, Greek Salad and cocktails in Lesvos. The name describes the atmosphere very well. Don't expect fast food, but rather slow food cooked to perfection! My young family and I have always felt welcomed here and part of the community. I cannot recommend this place enough. I always look forward to my next visit! Thank you Calma.

Great pizza, tasty cocktails! A small oasis in the village of Sigri. Excellent service, happy people, clean and friendly! Don't hesitate to visit it for your evening dose of holiday feeling!
