About

Paradisos Studios offers self-catering accommodation in one of the most quietly rewarding corners of Lesvos, nestled near the coastal village of Paralia Thermis on the northeastern shore of the island. The name itself — Paradisos, meaning paradise in Greek — hints at the setting: a stretch of coastline defined by calm pebbly beaches, the scent of olive groves, and the unhurried rhythm of a village that draws visitors as much for relaxation as for exploration. The nearby thermal springs of Thermi have attracted visitors to this part of Lesvos for centuries, lending the area a sense of timeless, restorative appeal that studio stays here naturally complement.

Guests choosing Paradisos Studios gain a comfortable base from which to explore the island's northeastern reaches without sacrificing independence. Self-contained studio accommodation in this region typically provides kitchen facilities, allowing visitors to shop at local markets and cook with the fresh produce, cheeses, and olive oil for which Lesvos is rightly celebrated. The proximity to the sea means mornings can begin with a short walk to the water, while the capital Mytilene lies close enough for day trips to its Genoese castle, vibrant harbor, and ouzo distilleries.

For travelers seeking an authentic stay away from the busier resort strips of the island, Paradisos Studios represents the kind of low-key, locally rooted option that defines the best of Greek island travel. The pace here is gentle, the landscape generous, and the thermal tradition of the surrounding area adds a dimension of wellness and history that elevates what might otherwise be a simple seaside holiday into something altogether more memorable.

Before you go

What to expect

You stay in a self-contained studio a short walk from a quiet pebbly shore, with kitchen facilities that invite you to pick up local olives, cheese, and fresh bread from nearby shops. The Thermi thermal springs are within easy reach, and the village pace is slow enough that an afternoon can disappear between a dip in the sea and a coffee at the harbour. Olive groves frame the view and the air carries the particular quiet of a Lesvos coastal village that hasn't been reshaped for mass tourism.

Best time to visit

May through October suits a stay here; the sea is warm from June and the thermal springs are pleasant year-round.

How to get there

Paralia Thermis sits roughly 10 km northeast of Mytilene; the coastal drive takes about 15–20 minutes and is straightforward to navigate.

Our stay at Paradisos Studios in Lesbos was absolutely wonderful. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully arranged. The host was very welcoming, helpful, and friendly; we truly felt at home. When we asked for a single bed, he personally came and set it up in the room with its furniture without any hesitation, which really impressed us. The location was both peaceful and conveniently close to places worth visiting. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, enjoyable, and relaxing holiday.

Nice location, large garden, local vibe & clean room, green & blue view, just next to Thermi road, some close alternatives for swimming and not for a way from center. What else do you want? Child friendly also. We spend 1 week in the big (yellow) room. 4 person staying available. 2 terrace, One of them is pure Greek vibe. You cant cook large menü in the kitchen but it was enough for us.

The place is falling apart. There is an airconditioner that doesn't work because somehow it is rigged to sensors so it can switch off when the doors are left open or something. The machine itself was super old as well and even if it worked it wouldn't do any good. One room had good air-conditioning and a bad toilet with no water pressure while the other had a "good toilet" installed but the air-conditioner was bad as previously mentioned. There was a faint smell of urine which I confirmed with one of my friends who is a doctor so I know I am not paranoid. There is an old dog running around which doesn't appear really clean. The man also forgot to turn the refrigerator on for us. Definitely not worth it for the price.

Everything was fine until my fourth day there. The husband moved me out of my room, into a smaller run down room & moved someone else in my old room. The WiFi kept cutting out, the channels didn’t work, also the room was next to where Mr. V worked so basically all I heard was bumping. Also one morning, it was a loud bump that woke me out of my sleep and he looked at me as if I did it. I know I called him to my room to fix things about 4 or 5 times and things still was unsatisfactory. I went into town to check on my boat to leave the island and I ended up having to leave that day so I took a cab back to the property, let ‘r V know the problem....(which wasn’t what I wanted to do but it was as what I had to do in order to make it to the airport on time. If I didn’t leave that day, I would have had to be stranded on the island with no place to sleep and could have missed my flight home) he actually didn’t want to refund my money. He wouldn’t listen to the fact that I HAD to leave, not that it was planned. I had to argue with him about getting my refund for the 2nights I couldn’t stay. Afterwards he still kept my money.....STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!! His wife is a lovely woman but he is a con artist!!!! You’ve been warned! Book at your own risk! Ain’t it’s NOT a beach front, the beach is down the street and around the corner.....also there’s a dog WITH FLEAS attached to him just walking around sniffing people.....be careful! I feel sorry for his wife because he’s gonna run their business to the ground
