About

K-Gold Temporary Gallery is a distinctive art and jewellery space nestled near the village of Agia Paraskevi, in the verdant olive-grove heartland of central Lesvos. The gallery operates as a creative showcase, presenting a curated selection of gold and silver jewellery alongside works of art in a setting that feels both intimate and thoughtfully arranged. For visitors exploring the island beyond its coastline, stops like this one offer a welcome window into the island's quiet cultural life away from the more tourist-heavy harbour towns.

What makes K-Gold stand out is its temporary, evolving nature — the selection shifts, giving repeat visitors and locals alike a reason to return. Whether you are drawn by handcrafted jewellery that reflects Aegean sensibilities or by the art on display, the gallery invites unhurried browsing and genuine conversation with the people behind the work. It sits conveniently close to Agia Paraskevi, a village best known for its remarkable petrified forest museum and the famous Cooperative of Women of Agia Paraskevi, making it a natural addition to a cultural afternoon in this part of the island.

Before you go

What to expect

A quiet, intimate space where jewellery and art share the room — expect handcrafted gold and silver pieces with an Aegean character, displayed alongside rotating artworks in an unhurried atmosphere. The selection changes over time, so what you find on one visit may be entirely different on the next. It rewards slow looking and often leads to a conversation with the people who made or curated the work.

Best time to visit

Late spring through early autumn is ideal; the gallery sits in the cooler olive-grove interior, making it a pleasant stop even on hot summer afternoons.

How to get there

From Mytilene, head north through the island's interior towards Agia Paraskevi — the drive takes roughly 40–45 minutes. The gallery is close to the village centre, making it easy to combine with the nearby petrified forest museum.

This cradle of culture can only be described as special and unique. The artistic director, Nikolas Vamvouklis, is a creative, witty, inventive, multicultural & well-traveled man, characteristics capable of opening up horizons in everything related to art in Lesvos. His choice to operate the gallery in Agia Paraskevi shows that culture is not born in capitals but in people. Androniki Koutsavli - Journalist
