I once saw someone passing the bridge riding on a donkey. I have acrophobia, cant even walk over it. For people who have time and interest, nice bridge and surroundings.

About

A beautifully maintained stone arch bridge spanning a scenic gorge near Napi, surrounded by countryside views. The bridge serves as a gateway to several hiking trails in the region, making it ideal for nature enthusiasts. The charming structure offers photo opportunities and access to natural exploration routes.

Before you go

What to expect

The worn stone arch sits quietly above a narrow gorge, and most visitors slow right down — crossing on foot, peering into the ravine below, then picking up one of the dirt trails that branch out into the surrounding hills. Northern Lesvos countryside, olive groves and scrubland, spreads around you with no crowds and no ticket booth.

Best time to visit

Spring (April to May) is the sweet spot when the gorge vegetation is lush and temperatures are mild; autumn works equally well, while July and August bring dry, punishing heat.

How to get there

From Mytilene, drive north through Kalloni toward the Napi area — expect roughly 50 to 60 minutes depending on which road you take through the hills.

Beautiful and nicely maintained stone arch bridge in the countryside spanni g a small gorge. Many hiking trails in the area. One end of the bridge is fenced off as it ends on private property. The sign is quite faded and difficult to read. Nice views.

Nice to see. Underneath the bridge you can find some little pools with a lot of frogs, tiny fishes and turtles.

This is an old stone bridge, it's in a remote location, it is quite pretty. You can walk over the top but not right over to the other end because there is a fence. Underneath is quite overgrown so we didn't venture Underneath! The river was still running quite well, we visited at the beginning of June

One of the "touristic sights" on Lesbos. A nice bridge, but not very special. I would not go out of my way to see it, but if you're in the area it's nice to go and have a look. I'm not sure why all the small pieces of plastic are sticking out of it after the renovation?

The bridge can be seen from the tarmac road so don't go fully off your satnav and some of the walking signs are misleading but never the less worth seeing . Well made bridge considering it's are and read the store to it on a board close too and make up your own mind.

16th century single arch bridge, constructed by using stones only (dry stone construction technique). It seems to be under renovation for quite some time now, but it still looks photogenic. You can still cross it by foot, just don't fall off... The only weird part is that one end of the do bridge ends up in some farmers field who blocked it off with a pile of wood.
