Delicate foods, great atmosphere and very friendly owner! This is my second trip to Scala Eresous and Gorgona Restaurant is the best at the town. Mihallis is fantastic man! We had great time and enjoyed the food. Highly recommend!

Best time to visit
June through September when the beach is in full swing; late August evenings are particularly atmospheric as the summer crowds thin slightly and sunsets linger.
How to get there
From Mytilene, head west through Kalloni then south through the hills toward Eresou; the drive is roughly 90 minutes and Skala Eresou sits right on the coast at the road's end.

It's ok, it was part of our tracking in the group. So it was pre-payed. I probably would have choose one of the other restaurants.

An absolute gem! The food here is delicious, very local, and truly traditional—exactly what you’d hope for in a family-owned restaurant. The service is amazing: warm, attentive, and incredibly fast. They really look after you, taking the time to understand and accommodate any dietary requirements with genuine care and knowledge. The setting couldn’t be more perfect—you’re right on the beach, so you can enjoy a swim downstairs and then come up for an ouzo and some mouthwatering Greek meze. The whole experience feels authentic, welcoming, and absolutely delicious. A must-visit!

mediocre food , targeted to tourists mostly that do not know what a Greek tomato or Greek feta tastes like. The Greek salad was a disappointment . Fish was grilled good but not cleaned thoroughly from scales. The rest was just OK nothing special . Much better restaurants around in Skala that have consistently good food and do not bring down quality especially when the season is high and especially in a land like Eresos that has so many local products .

We came for 7 days and became regulars quite quickly. The service was impeccable- having a very messy baby with us, we were met with great understanding and support. The food is excellent and of high quality. Being Greek it’s easy to distinguish between fresh, good quality and average and this place is truly excellent. Would highly recommend

The atmosphere and the service are very good. The staff is friendly. They offered us one of the most romantic tables. The kavourosalata and the ouzo were nice🦀. Only the shrimps were not cleaned off their shells, which sometimes happens but we wished we would have been warned about it.
