Filoxenia Apartments takes its name from one of the most cherished Greek traditions: philoxenia, the ancient spirit of hospitality and welcome extended to strangers. How to get there
Vareia is about 4 km south of Mytilene along the eastern coastal road — a straight ten-minute drive from the port. From Mytilene airport, the drive is similarly short, making this one of the most accessible bases on the island.

The room was excellent! Very comfortable, beautifully decorated. The cleanliness was really impeccable, which made us feel comfortable from the first moment. The location is ideal and the staff is friendly and helpful. We had a great time and will definitely choose it again!

We stayed in four separate rooms, a total of eight people including an 8-month-old baby. The rooms were both very clean and quite adequate. Kitchen utensils, a stove, refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, and WiFi were all available. A special mention goes to Vasilis, the main hotel manager. He was always helpful and attentive to our needs. He was solution-oriented, caring, friendly, and spoke excellent English. We were very satisfied in every aspect and would love to return. A special thank you also to the Albanian cleaning lady.

I traveled from my studies to the university in Lesvos, I stayed for 3 nights (4 days). It was an excellent experience, I booked the room with the kitchenette directly from the owner of the place (not through Booking). New unit! Very clean, everything I needed was always answered and helped. Excellent water flow. Powerful air conditioning. Towels were changed every day. I took a room next to the view and not next to the road and it was quiet and very beautiful. I walked to the university and the wifi in the room is simply excellent!

We booked a 25 sq m room with a double bed or two singles via booking.com. Instead, they gave us a 18 sq m room with a 1.50 m wide bed. After 2 days, they simply changed the towels and the bathroom bag (we threw the trash in our own bag - there is no other trash can). The running water was hot from morning until evening due to the pipe not being insulated.

According to the information we provide you at check-in, there is no daily change of bed linen as we are not a hotel and do not have this possibility. The room you were given is one of our renovated rooms as the room you had booked had a technical fault and for the best service we placed you in it! The management of the business did not report any problems with the room whatsoever nor did you request the above equipment so that we could provide it to you! Your visit to the premises of the business apartments obviously took place in the capacity of an 'inspector' and not a guest. Thank you!<br><br>The Filoxenia Apartments team is at your disposal.

Vasilis, who manages the rooms, is a very good host. The rooms are spacious, clean and very beautiful. The amenities listed are all 100%. When I come to the island again, I will definitely book again. I highly recommend it.
